Refund Policy
At Prashanti Hospital, we are committed to delivering high-quality healthcare services with transparency and integrity. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which payments made to the hospital are eligible for refunds.
1. Consultation & Appointment Fees
Non-refundable: Consultation and appointment booking fees are generally non-refundable once the service is rendered.
Eligible for Refund: If a consultation is cancelled by the hospital or due to unavoidable circumstances (e.g., doctor unavailability), patients may request a full refund or reschedule the appointment at no extra cost.
2. Advance Payments for Surgeries or Procedures
Partial Refunds: If a patient cancels a scheduled procedure after paying in advance, a partial refund may be applicable depending on:
The timing of cancellation (e.g., minimum 48 hours before the procedure).
Pre-procedure tests, consumables, or consultation charges already incurred.
No Refunds: If cancellation is made on the same day or after the commencement of the procedure, refunds may not be applicable.
3. Online Payments
In case of any technical error or double payment during online transactions, patients are requested to report it immediately.
The excess amount, after verification, will be refunded to the original payment method within 7-10 working days.
4. Pharmacy & Diagnostic Services
Refunds for pharmacy or diagnostic services will be provided only if:
The service/product was not availed.
The product is returned unopened and within the valid return period as per our pharmacy’s return policy.
No refunds are issued for medicines or diagnostics once the services are rendered or medications have been dispensed/used.
5. Mode of Refund
All approved refunds will be processed through the original mode of payment (credit card, debit card, bank transfer, etc.).
Cash refunds will not be provided unless originally paid by cash.
6. Refund Process
To request a refund, the patient or guardian must:
Submit a written refund request at the hospital’s front desk or via email to billing@prashantihospital.com.
Provide the payment receipt, ID proof, and reason for refund.
Allow 7–10 working days for processing after verification.
